FEELING FRISKY

Top of the evening Fashionista's!!!!! Today is going to be a quick blog post. Happy Fat Tuesday, for those of you who celebrate Mardi Gras. Just wanted to share this amazing cheetah dress. What girl does not love Cheetah? I purchased this dress at FOREVER 21. This garment is from the FOREVER 21 LOS ANGELES collection. I found this gem on the clearance rack for $10.99 and I just had to buy it. The original price of this dress was $22.90. The item number for this dress is 00213388 just in case you may want to purchase or to get a better view of the dress. I wore this dress to a Toastmasters Event. I wanted my look to be professional but stylish. I paired this dress with a pair of DKNY stocking purchased at Dillard Department Store. Also paired this dress with a pair of BCBG Girls black pumps, also purchased at Dillards. I wanted to keep the look simple, so I wore a pair of rhinestone studs purchased at Versona and my Michael Kors watch. I absolutely love this dress, plus it can be worn all seasons of the year and for any occasion. I hope you dolls enjoyed this look and talk with you in the next blog. Remember #TRUST THE PROCESS. LAISSEZ LES BON TEMPS ROULER

Good afternoon all, I hope that everyone is having an awesome day. As you know it is Mardi Gras season in my hometown of Mobile, Al as well as New Orleans. So I know there is a couple of balls left in this Mardi Gras season and I wanted to share and give you girls some inspiration for the last of the Mardi Gras balls this weekend. This year I was going for a Pearl Bailey look, if you don't know who she is, google her. So, guys I will let you all in on a big secret, I got my ball gown from Burlington Coat Factory. www.burlingtoncoatfactory.com/burlingtoncoatfactory/womens-cocktail-dresses- When I first saw, this dress, I fell in love and not to mention this dress was originally priced at $79.99, but I scored this baby for $39.99. My lovely rose gold necklace was purchased at Express and my earrings are from Francesca closet. To finish this look, I paired it with my Black Faux Fur Coat from Gianna Bini from Dillardwww.dillards.com/c/women-coats-fur-faux-fur. My shoes were purchased from Burlington for 9.99  and the brand is Nina. ninashoes.com/ I don't like to spend a lot of money on ball gowns because I know that I purchase a new one each Mardi Gras season.I really loved the way that this look came together on a budget, Cheap but Chic. So Fashionistas, I hope that you all enjoyed this post and comment below what you are wearing to the balls that you are attending.

WHO DO YOU TRUST?

Good Evening all. Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Valentine Day. Today is going to be another motivational post. This has been on my heart to share, but first I had to allow God to give the right words to address the audience.Throughout life we tend to invest our TRUST in relationships, friendships, work, family and so and so forth. BUT, once someone breaks the trust in relationship, the relationship will become either unstable or unrepairable. But here is my question to you. We as humans put all our trust, emotions and feeling into meaningless relationships. HERE'S the kicker, why don't we put that same amount of TRUST in GOD. Ok, here's a thought: The question is not if GOD TRUST you, BUT more or less do you TRUST GOD?  At the end of the day God has never mistaken his TRUST for us, so we do we seek validation and trust from others. Moral of the story, that same trust that we put into our families, friends and spouses allow GOD to get a piece of your trust. As always, trust the process that God is preparing for you. Everyday is not going to be peaches and cream. But, I will leave you with this: Why not let GOD use you, everyone else. Comment below and tell me your thoughts.

SOUTHERN GIRL WITH A YANKEE ATTITUDE!!!

HELLO WORLD and Happy Black History Month!!!! Ladies and Gents, it has been quite chilly in the South. Of course, I am a tropical type of girl, who hates the cold weather. So, here is a quick look for all my Southern Gals who loves to look trendy in the winter. So first, I knew that I wanted to rock a fitted baseball hat, the New York Yankee's is my favorite baseball team. https://www.lids.com/mlb/new-york-yankees/hats So, it's only appropriate that I represent them well. I paired this look with a cheetah  infinity scarf, very appropriate for the season. What girl don't love animal print. My pants of choice were a pair of leather  tights purchased from Dillard. http://www.dillards.com/c/accessories-leggings I rocked this look with a classic black Pea Coat, purchased years ago from Goody's. http://www1.macys.com/shop/womens-clothing/womens-coats/Coat_style/Peacoat?id=269 My shoes for the night were just a pair of black combat boots purchased at Factory Connection last season. Handbag is Antonio Melani, purchased at Dillard. I kept this look very classic, yet stylish. My gloves were purchased at Target. So I hope this look gave my Southern Gals, some inspiration to pull off a YANKEE look. As always comment below, what are you rocking this winter?  See you in the next BLOG.
